CCA is committed to making public place recycling available in all major public places. In 2004-05 CCA worked with councils and other organisations that manage public places to spread the availability of public place recycling.

In 2006, we are shifting our focus to partner with our key customers to implement public place recycling at venues such as theme parks, shopping centres and public events.

What has CCA done so far?

• Undertaken a trial program at Sydney's First Fleet Park.
• Assisted Taronga Zoo with recycling for their new Foodmarket, which included using a new signage system and a promotional campaign.
• Launched a program at Thredbo Ski Village which incorporated the new signage system.
• Established a number of partnerships which will launch programs in 2005.
• Leveraged brand Coke activities to spread the recycling message, such as with the Coca-Cola Luge in Summer 04-05.
• Launched a trial program at Luna Park, Sydney
