Fast Facts on the Coca-Cola Australia Foundation

  • The Coca-Cola Australia Foundation (CCAF) was established in 2001 to support not-for-profit and charitable organisations in Australia.

  • The aim of the CCAF is to improve the lives of marginalised young people in Australia through supporting innovative programs that address a problem in a new way or address an issue that is not currently being satisfactorily addressed.

  • Each calendar year the CCAF awards two types of grants – large ongoing National Grants, and smaller one-off Community Grants.  The total pool of money available is $1,000,000.

  • CCAF offers two types of grants:  large ongoing National Grants (up to $300,000 per year for up to 5 years) and smaller one-off Community Grants (up to $10,000).

  • There are no grant rounds for National Grants.

  • The Community Grant rounds for 2008 are:
Round 1 – applications close 1 June 2008.  Successful recipients notified by 31 July 2008.
Round 2 – applications close 1 October 2008.  Successful recipients notified by 30 November 2008.
